The Rosary Makers Ministry makes Mission Rosaries, those that are made with plastic beads and knotting cord. Mission Rosaries were started, designed and propagated by Archbishop Fulton Sheen in 1951. They are color-coded, embracing all the continents so the whole world is prayed for with each decade.
Mission Rosaries are made by members of The Rosary Makers Ministry at their individual homes (meetings are currently on pause) and are given away to those in need of them locally, nationally, and worldwide! They are also given to children in our Children's Ministry here at OLOR.
The Rosary Makers Ministry was founded by Mary Jane Holt when Fr. Ron Aubin was the Pastor at Our Lady of the Rosary. Starting in 2013, the ministry was led by Mac and Nida Liwanag.
